An academic work is rarely the end of the research process. There may be other points of view, or more discoveries may be made, or the author herself may revise her opinion after further study. Even when working on a single research project you may have to avail of different sources of information using various keywords in order to gather the information to support your argument. See the tabs above for sources you may find useful.
If you know when the information was produced you know where to find it.
When looking for information, your instinctive reaction is probably to run a search on a search engine. Search engines return a huge number of results, most of which aren't written by experts and thus don't reach academic standards.
The Library buys academic books and journals specifically for DkIT students and staff. Library search engines and databases offer loads of ways to help narrow down your search and find the most relevant results. You can access everything using your DkIT student card and student logins.
