ESRI
The Economic and Social Research Institute is Ireland’s independent source of evidence for policy. It produces research that contributes to understanding economic and social change in the new international context and that informs public policymaking and civil society in Ireland.
TASC
An independent progressive think-tank whose core focus is economic equality and democratic accountability. TASC’s mission is to produce policy analysis and present evidence-based proposals for the achievement of a more equal, flourishing society with accountable government and strong, responsible public engagement.
Social Justice Ireland
An independent think tank and justice advocacy organisation that advances the lives of people and communities through providing independent social analysis and effective policy development to create a sustainable future for every member of society and for societies as a whole.
Irish Qualitative Data Archive
IQDA is a central access point for qualitative social science data generated in or about Ireland. The archive frames the parameters and standards for archiving qualitative data within the Irish research community. The IQDA is a consortium member in the Digital Repository of Ireland.

ISSDA is Ireland’s leading centre for quantitative data acquisition, preservation, and dissemination. Based at UCD Library, its mission is to ensure wide access to quantitative datasets in the social sciences, and to advance the promotion of international comparative studies of the Irish economy and Irish society.

Pobal’s Mission is to work on behalf of Government and in partnership with our various stakeholders to improve outcomes, particularly for people experiencing disadvantage and social exclusion.

The statutory body which supports the provision of information, advice and advocacy on a broad range of public and social services. The Citizens Information Board provides the Citizens Information website and supports the network of Citizens Information Centres and the Citizens Information Phone Service. It also funds and supports the Money Advice and Budgeting Service (MABS).

November 1st 2014 marked the establishment in law of the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission. The basis for the new Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission has its origins in the Good Friday/Belfast Agreement and is a requirement north and south of the island of Ireland. Our purpose as an independent national human rights and equality institution is to protect and promote human rights and equality in Ireland. We aim to build a welcoming organisation that nurtures a culture of respect for human rights, equality and intercultural understanding across society.

The National Disability Authority is the independent state body providing expert advice on disability policy and practice to the government and the public sector, and promoting Universal Design in Ireland.
