Using Your Library: Distance learners

Welcome

To help those who are studying remotely/can't visit campus the library has different services/resources to help you with your studies.

You will be able to:

  • Access e-books and journal articles via MultiSearch
  • Avail of free postal loans/returns
    • See relevant boxes on this page

How it works

  • Search the catalogue for books.
  • Check that their status is 'Available'
    • Only items that are ‘Available’ can be requested.
  • Request using the form on this page
    • We ask for a link to the catalogue record of the book.  Watch our video for assistance in what link we require to process your request
    • If you have multiple requests please try to make on the same day so we can process them at the same time

How many items can I request?

The number of items you can request depends on your membership category.

  • Level 6/7/8 students: 8 items
  • Level 9 students (taught): 15 items
