How do I evaluate a website?
Websites are good for keeping up to date, especially in the fast moving world of computing.
But... approach with caution! Anyone can publish on the web, so it's important to check information on the web in terms of:
- Authority - does the author know what they're talking about? How expert is he/she in the field?
- Currency - is the information in or our of date?
- Purpose - why was the website created? Beware of bias.

Google Scholar looks and feels like Google Search, but the results are different because it searches scholarly papers instead of general websites.
