Access to the Library

Because of the threat to life and health posed by Covid19 we are re-configuring access arrangements so that the space is as safe as we can make it for all of us.

As you can see the situation and advice of Covid19 can change so the information below may be revised as new information becomes available

This means that:
- The numbers of people in the library at any one time will be limited.
- We will need to know who is in the library at any one time so that contacts can be traced in the event of an infection
- Social distancing will change layout of spaces, where readers can study
- Staff will mostly work remotely
- Access will be for individuals only (not groups)
- We think that a booking system will be implemented
- At times certain groups of students will have priority access
- Postal loans will be available
- A Click & Collect Service will be available

More information will become available soon
